Company Profile
Our History :
W RIASON SEALS was established in 1975 by Wally Wright and family . Originally called "WRIGHT AND SON ENGINEERING ", Wally shortened it to WRIASON. Calling on his experience in seals and packings throughout the USA in the 1960s , Wally was a pioneer in the seal industry in British Columbia. Today, Wriason remains the oldest business in Vancouver dedicated solely to seals and packings.
We moved into our Pandora Street location in the late 1970's. Growth allowed us to take over the downstairs of the complex in the early 1990s , adding more machinery and personnel . We can now boast over 10,000 square feet of office, warehouse and manufacturing space. As well , we have dock and level loading and ample off-street parking . Come by for a tour , we're always proud to show off our facilities !
The Wriason Philosophy continued when Vic bought the company in 1990. Vic has been involved with seals, oils and grease and Lincoln Lubrication Products since the 1960s. His visions kept us going thru recessions and busy times . Today we have seven full-time staff involved in all facets of production and sales, including Vic's wife Joan and daughter Shelley . We engineer and produce many products onsite in our own building .
Wriason continues to grow into the 21st Century . Our commitment to Service, Knowledge and Pricing makes us the first choice for seals, packings, cylinders and lube equipment. . We recently became the B.C. Distributor for Hercules Sealing Products and offer their unparallelled lines of seals and seal kits. Being 100 % B.C. Owned and Operated keeps us investing in British Columbia and allows us to return the loyalty and support of our customers to our Community .
